HISTORY

Originally formed in 1980, DecTron® Products, then Special T Shop, focused on the design, manufacture, and assembling of a wide variety of precision machined and finished mechanical products.  The first product lines were for the demanding fields of Ophthalmology and Optometry.  Meeting those customer requirements and solving their needs led us to design, manufacture, and assemble a wide range of products and sub assemblies for the diverse range of needs in these fields.

In 1997, the DecTron® line of products was acquired from a very established, well respected company.  The acquisition of the DecTron® product line was a very natural addition, and would prove to be a very successful one moving forward.

In mid 2009, Special T Shop was acquired by Strohmaier Corporation and re-branded as DecTron® Products in an effort to create a world renowned brand known for creating the very best and most durable Articulating Arm Systems on the market today.  Strohmaier Corporation brings to the company 30 plus years of manufacturing expertise, management, and innovation while making a firm commitment to produce products of unparalleled quality, deliver real world solutions, and provide industry leading customer support.
